When is it too Late to Purchase Life Insurance?
Written by Life Insurance

If you are aged 18 to 64, then it is not too late to get life insurance cover. Your maximum benefit amounts are decreased the later you wait, so it is very important that you get covered as soon as possible. For the older individual, getting a life insurance policy now would mean you would have a financial legacy to leave to your loved ones and they would not be burdened with your funeral expenses and any debts when the inevitable happens, but that could be 30 years from now. With life insurance cover you can be rest assured that you are planning and contributing to the well being and future of you and your beneficiaries.

With a good life insurance policy you and your beneficiaries are guaranteed benefits if you: die of natural causes; suffer an accidental death; or are diagnosed with a terminal illness. With the terminal illness benefit you can claim your full benefits if you are determined to have a terminal illness and meet the other specified criteria. That way you can get the medical help you need, pay off debts or give the money to your beneficiaries yourself.

Between the age of 60 and 64, as long as you are an Australian resident, you can get a benefit amount of between a minimum of $50,000 to a maximum of $300,000, with no medical or blood test. Just as long as you pay your premiums on time, your policy is guaranteed renewable for life. The key is to purchase your coverage before you reach age 65.

Student insurance quotes, are important in days while you are away from your home.

Choose to Live With a Healthy Heart
Written by The Doctor
It's very important to have a healthy heart. Your heart pumps your blood throughout your body, which keeps you alive. Your heart is a muscle, and to keep it healthy you must keep it strong. Like any other muscle in your body, if you don't use it, it becomes less efficient.
Exercise is one of the best ways to keep your heart healthy. Aerobic exercise (exercise which uses oxygen-- for example running, swimming, biking) is good for your heart. Keeping your heart rate in your target heart rate zone for at least thirty minutes at a time, about five days a week, is a good way to keep your heart healthy. To figure your target heart rate--minus your age from 220, then multiply your answer by 60% and 80% to get your upper and lower limits. Anaerobic exercise (exercise without oxygen, such as weight lifting) is also beneficial for your heart, but not quite as beneficial as aerobic exercise. Of course, you need to check with your doctor FIRST before starting ANY exercise.
As you exercise, you increase the amount of blood your heart pumps with each beat, which makes your heart stronger and more efficient.
Keeping your weight in a healthy zone will also improve your heart function. Eating healthy foods such as fruits, nuts, vegetables, fish, chicken, and limiting amounts of red meat, saturated fat, sugar, and sodium are positive steps towards keeping your weight down and your heart healthy.
Having a healthy heart improves many functions of the body including functions of the brain. Having a healthy heart improves the quality of life in general, so choose to live with a healthy heart.
